#Serato dj 1.7 full mac update#
I’ve had my M1 MacBook Air for a few days now, so I wanted update my post with everything I’ve used and tested on it.
#Serato dj 1.7 full mac pro#
If I were certain my surface pro could handle streaming and serato, I’d use it instead. For me, it’s leading to some very frustrating hours when time is of the essence.Įdit: bottom line is I have the MacBook and it works in serato, so I’ll use it for tomorrow’s show. The M1 and Big Sur OS are still fairly new and companies are rushing to put out comparable software. Apple is also very impressive when it comes to battery life and doing more with what I perceive to be less than my gen 5 surface pro. Overall thoughts about the M1 MacBook Pro:Īpple is fairly intuitive if switching from a windows based pc. All other times when I try to select the serato virtual audio, it acts as if it’s disabled. After countless hours of troubleshooting, reloading software, and alternating between cursing/praying, I’ve only been able to get audio in OBS 1 Time. Serato2.5.5 is supposed to eleminate the need for 3rd party audio capture on Mac in order to stream. Once I reload the latest driver for the mixer from Rane, it connects again and I can play serato normally. If I load that update, the mixer will not connect to serato on the restart. When I turn on the mixer and open serato, it tells me there’s an update for the mixer. Serato also updated to 2.5.5 if I remember correctly. Yesterday the MacBook updated to Big Sur 11.4 or something. Finally, I have a gig tomorrow night I was hoping to stream on twitch. You’ll also need to know I’m running a Rane 72 mk1 and 2 Rane 12 mk2s. The last 2 days have been a little frustrating.įor context: this is my first Apple product (besides an iPhone and some AirPods). Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
